Connecting people to where food comes from

Agricultural education is central to what we do. Across our farm sites, students, volunteers, and community members learn directly from the land through hands-on experiences that connect people to how food is grown and where it comes from.

We deliver education both through intentional programming and through the everyday work of farming alongside volunteers, youth groups, and partner organizations.

Where Education Happens

Education across our farm sites

Education is embedded within working farms, where each site offers a different way to connect people to agriculture.

University Collaboration

Cal Poly Pomona Collaboration

We work with Cal Poly Pomona to provide students with hands-on experience in agriculture, food systems, and farm operations.

A central part of this collaboration is Operation Cornucopia, our seedling propagation initiative. Based at Cal Poly Pomona, the project engages students directly in producing seedlings that support our production sites.

Through this work, students gain real-world experience in greenhouse operations, propagation systems, and the logistics behind scaling food production for community distribution.
